At the most normal of times, the world's largest online retailer offers some of the deepest discounts on all major brands. It's worth reiterating, however, that the big-box storefronts should have their fair share of savings on the day, too.

Black Friday will be November 26 this year, but it's more likely that the deals will begin towards the beginning of that week - easily, given the trends from previous years. No matter when they start exactly - be on guard from mid-October to be safe - Black Friday external hard drive deals tend to hang around longer than most Black Friday tech items, especially from the larger retailers, as there always seems to be enormous numbers of them and of stock.

Should I wait for the Black Friday external hard drive deals?

Given that we're now racing our way through October, we'd be extremely surprised if any deal right now, or in the next couple of weeks, at least, was better than those that will come when the Black Friday external hard drive deals start properly.
